Affiliate Programs - How To Sell

Now that you know what affiliate programs are it's time to look at how to sell the products that you select. Assuming you have already chosen a product to sell we can look at advertising it! Now sense I'm trying to teach everyone how to do this without spending money I will stick to the free advertising sites and just touch basis on the paid advertising sites after.

First, before you pick a place to advertise your product you need to decide what your ad is going to say. For instance, remember the sites that charge you money to teach you HOW to do everything? Well they usualy have ads that say something like, Make $3,000.00 A Week While Doing Nothing! This would be the ad title, the discription would be something like, Learn the secrets to making millions from home with our exclusive offer through XYZ company.

You want your ad to say the products name, and be able to grab someones attention quickly. Think about when you are looking though a magazine and you come accross an ad, do you read the entire ad right away or do you only stop to read it IF the title gets your attention?

After you've completed your ad for what ever product you have decided to sell, or products for that matter, you need to start advertising it. There are several different methods to advertising. The first is using free classified ads. The following is a list of some of the most successfull free classified links.

The other way to advertise and sell affiliate products is to write articles. This is a great way to get people to your site. Here are a few places you can subscribe to where you can write articles for free to drive people to your site.

Tips for writing articles:

Topic
Make sure to choose a topic that people will want to read. It really doesn't matter what the topic is as long as it pertains to your web site where you are selling your products. For example, let's say you are selling tips on how to lose weight. You might choose to write an article about top ways to lose weight.

Title
The title is very important. The title is going to make the difference between your article being on the first page of a google search or the last. When you title your article it's important to use a title that is discriptive. So let's look back at our above example. If you were writing an article about the top ways to lose weight you might title your article, Top 5 Ways to Lose Weight. Now to see if this is a good title use the google search bar at the top of my blog. Type your title in the search engine to see how many hits you get. You get 374,000 like sites. This means you need to change your title to be a little more discriptive. Something like Top 5 Ways to Lose 20lbs In A Month might work better. If you type the second title into my google search baryou can see that this title brings up only 7,560 like sites. This means that your site would be more likely to get on the first page within 2 - 7 days. This is more effective to get people to your article.

Body
The body of your article doesn't have to be that long. All you want to do is talk about whatever topic you chose to gain the readers attention enough to get them to click on your web sites link at the bottom of the page.

Your Link
After you are done writing your article make sure to end it saying if you liked this article and are interested in learning more click here and have your link available for them to click on.

This is one of the most effective ways to get people to your web site. And it's free!
