Affiliate Programs - What Are They?

So you've just seen a pop-up that says "Make $389/Day From Home!". You get excited and cick on the link to see HOW to do this. You then spend 20 min's reading through the entire web site and all the testimonials only to find they haven't told you a thing about HOW to make your $389/day. BUT WAIT, you then see the link that says click here for the secrets. After clicking the link you see a box to take all your payment information! Does this sound familure? It should. These advertisments are all over the internet. Well I'm here to give everyone the secret with out you paying me a dime, that is after all what my entire blog is about! How to make money without spending any.

Ok so let's start with the answer to the above question, what are affiliate programs? Affiliate programs, also known as affiliate marketing, is where a person advertises and sells products for a company. There are several companies that offer affiliate marketing, I'll show you a few that I use in a minute. Once you sign up for an affiliate company and gain access to their site, it may take 24 - 48 hours to gain access, you can start searching for products and begin marketing them, I'll show you how to do that too. When someone buys your product you get a commission amount. The more you market, the more you sell, the more money you earn.

So let's look at some of the sites.

Orange Soda is a marketing site that allows businesses to advertise their products. Orange Soda provides a place for those businesses to advertise, for a fee. By being an affiliate you are trying to get businesses to sign up with Orange Soda, by doing so giving you money in your pocket. Swank Martini is a specialty affiliate program. You only advertise one thing and that is their product. This is something I like to use for a little "flavor" on my web site. The banners for their ads are fun and I think make my page look better. They also have contests for customers, which as an affiliate helps out a lot for advertising. Link Share is another great site. It's a little hard to get started here if you do not have a web page but if you like to blog you can use your blog page, I'll explain how in a bit. Click Here to go to their page to sign up. Once you sign up link share offers you several different businesses that offer affiliate marketing. Link Share acts more as a hub for several different sites you can sign up for. It's a nice thing to be able to log onto one site and view all the others that you are selling for.

ClickBank is the last site we'll talk about until a later time, I'm still testing out some other ones to see how they work. ClickBank has 1000's off different companies to advertise for and their commision is pretty high. I like this site because they offer an easy search process for finding the right products for each individual. I have had my best success with selling How-To-Guides.

RoiRocket Is another affiliate program that you can choose to use to sell products online. It's also a nice place to use if you have other friends or family memebers that are interested in working online because it offers a great referral program. Click Here to sign up with RoiRocket.
